Charlie Dizon, Romnick Sarmenta win top acting plums at Gawad Urian 2024

Charlie Dizon and Romnick Sarmenta bagged the Best Actress and Best Actor awards for their performances in “Third World Romance” and “About Us But Not About Us,” respectively, at the 47th Gawad Urian Awards on Saturday, June 8 at the De La Salle University.

Led by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino, the Carl Joseph Papa-helmed “Iti Mapukpukaw” brought home Best Picture, while “Third World Romance” won the most awards at the ceremony.
