Based on an interview with ABS-CBN, the two girls received special citations for arts, media and entertainment.
Despite their busy schedules amid their blossoming careers, both Colet and Maloi plan to pursue college.
In the interview, Maloi said she plans to pursue a degree related to multimedia and/or fine arts, while Colet wants to pursue a degree in dentistry, pharmacy or anything medical-related.
Aside from the two girls, P-pop boy group BGYO members Gelo, Mikki and JL also graduated from the same school.
Meanwhile, BINI is set to hold their first-ever solo concert, a sold-out three-day show titled BINIverse, on June 28 to 30.
Dubbed the national girl group sensation, the eight-piece girl group was awarded the Rising Star Award at the inaugural Billboard Philippines Women in Music last March.
BINI rose to fame for their hits “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Lagi,” and “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,” among others. As of this writing, the girls have accumulated 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
On Nov. 6, 2020, the group released their pre-debut single, “Da Coconut Nut,” but they officially debuted on June 11 the following year with another single, “Born to Win.”
Aside from Colet and Maloi, the group consists of Jhoanna, Aiah, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha and Sheena.
