Filipino actresses Heart Evangelista and Anne Curtis landed fourth and ninth spots, respectively, among the Top 20 Global Celebrities for all Fashion and Sportswear based on Launchmetrics Insights’ latest report on fashion marketing.
Launchmetrics released its report “Reinventing Influence: The Gen Z Impact on Fashion Marketing” on Thursday, June 6 (EST). It revealed the influence and trends in consumer behavior and shifts in the fashion, lifestyle and sportswear industries over the years.
The report also unveiled the “Top 20 Celebrities Globally for All Fashion and Sportswear Segments,” where Evangelista ranked fourth on the list with a total of $85 million in Media Impact Value (MIV), while Curtis secured the ninth spot with a total of $55 million in MIV.
The two women are the only Filipinas on the list. Evangelista took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend her congratulations to the Kapamilya actress-host.
“Congrats too [Anne Curtis Smith],” she wrote. The Kapuso socialite also shared the full list on her Instagram story and said, “Over all, grateful.”
Other personalities in the Top 20 are K-pop boy groups ENHYPEN, NCT, Stray Kids, Blackpink members Jennie, Jisoo and Rose, and girl group New Jeans.
Also on the list are international celebrities including Dua Lipa, Dwayne Johnson and Thai actor Win Metawin, among others.
Meanwhile, in 2023, Evangelista topped the influencer ranking at Milan Fashion Week as she generated $1.4 million in media impact value within the tracking period.
In the same year, actress-beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach ranked second on the list of celebrities who brought in the highest media value, generating $3.4 million, while Liza Soberano garnered $671,000 from posting one of her luxury outfits on Instagram.
In the 2024 Milan Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, Wurtzbach again ranked second on the list, generating $5.4 million in media impact value, while Evangelista bagged the third spot with $3.6 million in MIV.
