A young talent with remarkable OPM pedigree, a social media sensation, and a regular beauty pageant kontesera make up three of the five-member Win Girls, an all-female team that will share hosting chores with Willie Revillame in his upcoming game show on TV5.

In April, Willie signed up with MediaQuest Group and its subsidiary MQuest Ventures, for which he will serve as creative director. At the ceremonial contract signing, Willie said his new evening program will complement TV5’s entertainment programming.

Ana Ramsey, Queenay and Inday Fatima were recently announced as Willie’s cohosts. Two more talents, a fencer and a volleyball player, are expected to be launched soon.

FEATURED STORIES

Ana Ramsey is a granddaughter of the late Elizabeth Ramsey and a niece of Jaya. She’s also a radio DJ and a former host of an online noontime show.

“I’m always up for challenges because it’s how we grow. I’m excited to show what I can offer to the group to help entertain the audience,” Ana said.

“It’s been more than five years since I first worked for the noontime show. I’m thankful because it has opened many opportunities for me. But I’m now starting a new chapter, another journey. With this, I feel I will be experiencing more growth. My former bosses are very supportive. The transition had been smooth,” she told Inquirer Entertainment.

Ana is arguably the more experienced of the three. “I’m so used to attending auditions. I can no longer count the number of times I’ve tried my luck and been rejected. I’m already ‘immune’ to rejections. To younger acts out there, the most important thing is to simply enjoy the moment. Once you do this, you will discover that the natural, authentic and real ‘you’ will eventually come out. Everything else will follow. Of course, I felt the pressure during the auditions because Kuya Will and a set of jurors were there,” she recalled.

Queenay

Queenay is a popular TikTok content creator. She is known for her Batangueña accent and humorous videos. She was last seen on the big screen via Louie Ignacio’s thriller, “Slay Zone.” She has 14.7 million followers and 300 million likes on TikTok, 2.7 million followers on Facebook, and a silver play button on YouTube with over 300,000 subscribers.

‘Goal is to spread happiness’

“I know that this project will eat up most of my time, but before I decided to do this, I made sure to prepare myself mentally and emotionally. I already have an idea how to manage my time. As they say in Filipino, ‘Kapag gusto, may paraan. Kapag ayaw, may dahilan,’” she pointed out.

During the audition session, Queenay recalled that she was one of the last ones to arrive. “When I came up the stage, I was shocked to see that there were so many auditionees. They were all beautiful and talented. They made me really nervous, so I took a deep breath and showed them what I got—yung natural lang. My goal is to spread happiness alongside Kuya Willie,” she declared.

She said she felt extremely nervous during her first meeting with Willie. “Prior to that, I only knew of him through TV and social media. I discovered that he is actually serious about what he is doing, that he is a deep thinker, and that he really has great love for the people. I’m determined to help him achieve the goals of the program. He is also great at taking care of his team. He makes sure we are all well fed before we start work for the day,” said Queenay.

Life lessons

Inday Fatima is Hiyas ng Pilipinas Miss Tourism World Philippines 2023 and a social media influencer. She is also a registered medical technologist advocating for the health of persons with disability in her home province of Malungon, Sarangani.

“I never imagined I would reach this far. I’m just a content creator who makes videos showing how to make nilupak or open a coconut. I actually didn’t want to go to sleep for fear of waking up and realizing that this was all a dream,” said Inday.

For her, the biggest adjustment was having to relocate to Manila by herself. “My mom didn’t want to live with me here because she couldn’t stand the traffic. She sent someone to go with me. I expect it will be difficult for me because I’m so used to my mom’s cooking. That’s what I will truly miss about my life in the province, but this is an opportunity that I cannot pass up. I want to grow in this industry, so I need to take risks. I can go back to the province anytime,” she told reporters.

Inday is convinced that being Willie’s cohost is her destiny. “My first-ever YouTube vlog was about Kuya Willie’s ‘Pera o Bayong.’ I don’t think it was just coincidence. Fast forward to today, I’m now part of his new show,” she recalled. “Kuya Willie is such a generous person. Other than material gifts, he likes sharing life lessons with us.”
