“StarStruck” batch 1 members had a mini reunion that brought nostalgia to their fans, as they are set to play in the game show “Family Feud.”
On Instagram, Mark Herras posted some snaps from the episode taping. With him were alumni Alvin Aragon, Rainier Castillo, Anton Dela Paz, Jade Lopez, Cristine Reyes, Katrina Halili and Nadine Samonte.
Herras wrote in his caption, “Batch 1 gaming!” Based on the photos, the boys and girls will compete against each other.
In the comments section, fans expressed their sentimental remarks about seeing the members of the first season of the reality talent competition.
“Wow, the original dreamers, believers, and survivors,” wrote one netizen.
“Nasa crib palang ako pinapanood ko na kayo mga idol,” said one fan.
“Halaaa! I feel old, hahah [crying emoji],” expressed another fan.
In a previous interview, Herras said that “he’s proud and happy” with the careers that his batchmates had built since they finished their stint in “StarStruck,” despite him being “unhappy” with how his own career turned out.
The actor-dancer also expressed his gratitude to “StarStruck” for opening the doors for him in show biz.
“Dun po talaga nagsimula lahat ng kung ano ‘yung meron ako ngayon, kung ano ‘yung status ng karera ko ngayon,” he said at the time.
“Talagang sila po ‘yung naging opportunity ko, sila ‘yung naging daan para mabuksan ‘yung [opportunities] sa show biz, so talagang malaki ang pasasalamat ko,” added the actor.
Aside from the aforementioned, other members of batch 1 include Yasmien Kurdi, Dion Ignacio, Sheena Halili, Tyron Perez and Christian Esteban.
“StarStruck” season 1 ended with 71 episodes on Feb. 1, 2004, with Herras and Jennylyn Mercado named as the big winners, aka the Ultimate Survivors.
