Birthday girl Gelli de Belen’s heart melted after she was invited out by Quentin, Candy Pangilinan’s son diagnosed with autism, who used his piggy bank savings to treat them to a meal.
Gelli gave a glimpse of their meal date which was also joined by her sister, actress Janice de Belen, through the former’s Instagram page on Wednesday, May 29.
“This big boy has to be the sweetest,” Gelli said of Quentin. “Quentin knew it was my birthday so he told his Mom na kakain daw kami sa Shakey’s, favorite niya Hawaiian pizza, tsaka ‘yun daw kaya ng budget niya.”
“So right before going, nilabas niya ang kanyang piggy bank because that is what he will use to pay at ‘yun mismo ang dala niya sa lunch,” she continued.

Gelli further stated that Quentin, 20, gifted her with a chocolate bar he took from their refrigerator, a rosary he got from his grandmother’s room, and a handwritten letter.
“My [heart] is so full of gratitude for this thoughtful boy,” Gelli added. “Ninang loves you, Quentin!”
Fellow celebrities were also moved by Quentin’s gesture, praising him via the comments section.

Quentin is the son of Pangilinan with her former non-showbiz husband. The actress has been a single mom to her child since 2003.
