Pledis Entertainment’s rookie boy group TWS is returning to the K-pop scene with their second mini-album “Summer Beat!” which is set for a June 24 release.
The South Korean label confirmed TWS’ upcoming mini-album through a press statement, more than a week after releasing a teaser trailer showing the members enjoying the summer season before running towards the beach.
The boy group’s social media platforms also released a logo motion video revealing the concept of their upcoming record. The video showed a Polaroid camera snapping a photo to reveal the logo of the album.
“This marks the band’s first comeback after their debut mini-album, Sparkling Blue, which featured the acclaimed lead single ‘plot twist,’” Pledis said.

TWS, consisting of Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, debuted in January 2024 with their first mini-album “Sparkling Blue.” According to Pledis, the group’s name is an “abbreviation” of the phrase “Twenty Four Seven with Us” which shows their “unwavering commitment” to constantly be with their listeners.
The male sextet is the South Korean label’s first boy group in nine years since award-winning group Seventeen.
In February 2024, the boy group signed with Universal Music Group’s Geffen Records and Virgin Music for global promotions.
