Bela Padilla expressed her dismay after witnessing burglars in action on her ride in a tube, also known as a train, in London. The actress remarked that she wanted to do something about the act, but fear took over.

In her Instagram story, the “Camp Sawi” actress detailed her experience as the “wrongdoing” took place before her eyes.

“Took Norman to the airport yesterday. So it was my first time back on the tube after 3 months,” she began, referring to her London-based Swiss-Italian boyfriend Norman Bay. “And when I entered, someone had left a red backpack. These two girls decided to open it and check it out,” she shared, sharing a photo of the girls with their faces covered.

“They took the food inside and other (I’m assuming valuable) things and threw the backpack on the floor,” she continued. “They opened that tupperware that had sandwiches inside and started laughing really loudly, and all I could think of was that whoever left their bag would be hungry on their journey,” adding that the effort and time it took to pack the lunch are now wasted.

Padilla said she wanted to stop the thieves from doing what they were doing, but in a place like London, people seldom interfere with such behavior.

“I felt bad on my walk home. I wanted to stand up and tell them to stop messing with the bag. But for some reason I was really nervous and scared,” she expressed. “And so I realized I’m back in London, where no one cares to report these things, and no one will intrude when we see bad behavior.”

Meanwhile, Padilla also lamented on her X (formerly Twitter) account about her missing luggage during her international trip.

“No answers or accountability from anyone on your end regarding my missing luggage @GulfAir, so disappointing. First and last time I’m flying with you guys,” she wrote. “Since May 11, none of you could even tell me if my luggage was left in Manila, Bahrain, or ever made it to London. What kind of customer service is this?”
