Queenie Padilla revealed that she and her Pakistani husband Usama Mir have separated due to “irreconcilable incompatibility.”

Queenie, the daughter of Sen. Robin Padilla and sister of actress Kylie Padilla, made her separation public through a statement released on her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 14.

“Assalamualaikum, after much thought and consideration, I have decided to separate from my husband due to irreconcilable incompatibility,” she began. “This decision wasn’t taken overnight. It has been years and months of trying to work things out.”

“I will always have love, honour and respect for the father of my child. He’s a great father and responsible human being,” she continued. “Although life has taken us on different paths right now, I will forever cherish the 11 years we’ve had together.”

Queenie then thanked her fans for their support, and requested them to grant her family the privacy during this difficult time.

In a succeeding post, the former actress announced that she will be on a social media hiatus. “Thank you for all your prayers and support.”

Prior to going offline, Queenie also shared via her Instagram Stories the song “Fix You” by Coldplay.
