Twice’s Dahyun, B1A4’s Jinyoung topbill new film ‘You Are The Apple of My Eye’

Twice’s Dahyun and B1A4’s Jinyoung were reported to star as the leads of the upcoming Korean film “You Are The Apple of My Eye,” which is a remake of the Taiwanese movie of the same name.

Dahyun and Jinyoung’s casting was confirmed by Korean media outlet Xports News on May 14 where the Twice member is said to star as the model student Seon-ah.

Meanwhile, Jinyoung will portray Jin-woo who falls in love with Dahyun’s character.

Additional information about the Cho Young-myeong-helmed film, including the changes to the original plot and premiere date is yet to be announced.

Neither Dahyun nor Jinyoung’s labels, JYP Entertainment and BB Entertainment, have yet to address the reports, as of this writing.

The upcoming movie is based on the 2011 Taiwanese youth romance film “You Are the Apple of My Eye” which revolves around the blossoming romance between the troublemaker Ko Jing-teng and model student Shen Chia-yi.

The Twice member will make her acting debut in the upcoming movie “Sprint” but details of its plot are yet to be disclosed.

Dahyun debuted as the lead rapper and vocalist of Twice in October 2015. She was chosen as one of the members of the nine-member group in the final episode of the survival show “Sixteen.”
