Thai celebrity Win Metawin is set to grace the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 stage as a performer on the pageant’s coronation night on May 22 at the SM MOA Arena.
The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization announced Metawin’s participation through its Instagram page on Saturday, May 11.
“Global Celebrity and Thai Superstar WIN METAWIN will perform at The Coronation of Miss Universe Philippines 2024. Pilipinas, excited na ba kayo?” read the announcement.
The Thai actor is part of the performers’ line-up alongside Marina Summers and Lola Amour for the local pageant’s coronation night.
Prior to this, MUPH announced that Alden Richards, Gabbi Garcia, Tim Yap, Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel, and Emmy-winning host Jeannie Mai would be picking up the hosting duties for the coronation.

Meanwhile, Metawin has been in constant pursuit of delighting his Filipino fans, as he recently held mall tours in the country promoting his movie “Under the Parallel Skies,” opposite Filipino actress Janella Salvador.
In an interview, the Thai actor said he enjoyed working with Filipinos since they are “professional,” and noted that the Thai and Filipino cultures are similar.
“It was a great experience for me, and I think the Filipino team is very professional and very easy to work with,” he said.
“I think the culture is very similar to Thai culture and Filipino culture, so I don’t have to adapt anything; we got along very well,” added the Thai celebrity.
Metawin extended a message of gratitude to his Filipino fans for being welcoming toward him.
“Thank you for being so supportive. You know every time I come back here, you know I always get the energy from you guys. Thank you for always supporting me,” he said.
Metawin is known for his roles in the Thai series “2gether” and the Thai adaptation of “Boys over Flowers.”
