What would Kapuso actor Xian Lim say to his ex-girlfriend should he cross paths with her unexpectedly?
In the Friday episode of “Family Feud,” Lim was one of the guest players and was asked, “Kung makakasalubong mo ang ex mo, ano ang itatanong mo?” (If you cross paths with your ex, what will you ask them?)
The “Love.Die.Repeat” actor was at first hesitant to answer the question but after a while said that he wanted to give a man’s perspective after another guest player, Coleen Garcia, answered that she’s friendly and on good terms with her exes.
“Hindi, puwede bang gusto ko rin mag-contribute (No, I want to contribute as well). ‘Di ba parang from a lady’s point of view, from a guy’s point of view naman… I think, kapag nakasalubong mo ang ex mo (if you meet your ex), you should say na, ‘I hope you do find the happiness that you’re looking for,’” said Lim.
The Kapuso actor continued, “Dapat masaya, ‘di ba dapat masaya kayo para sa isa’t isa. (You guys should be happy for each other). Always dapat in good terms.”
Despite not naming the ex, Lim recently broke up with his girlfriend of 12 years, actress-host Kim Chiu. The two had a controversial separation after rumors circulated that there was a third party involved on the actor’s side.
However, both parties have not disclosed the reason for the breakup but have penned separate heartfelt breakup messages on their respective Instagram accounts in December.
After their breakup, Lim was rumored to be linked to film producer and screenplay writer Iris Lee. The actor officially confirmed their relationship in his recent interview with Esquire magazine, saying he and Lee were happy and that there was no third party involved while in he was in a relationship with Chiu.
