Dingdong Avanzado marks silver year

MANILA, Philippines –  Dingdong Avanzado celebrates his 25th year in the music industry with the 15-track album, “Download.”

The title track is a collaboration of Ogie Alcasid and Noel Cabangon. Some of the country’s top performers join Dingdong in notable duets: Gloc 9 performs the rap portion of “Limutin Ka,” while Juris sings in “Much Longer.”

Breakup tune

The background vocals of “Download” are performed by no less than Regine Velasquez.

Avanzado and Rachel Alejandro share the breakup tune, “Paalam Na.” Interestingly, “Maghihintay Sa ‘Yo,” which Dingdong composed 25 years ago, is rendered by the person he wrote it for: Sharon Cuneta.

Completing the lineup is his duet with Jessa Zaragoza, “The Moment I Found You,” which the singer composed for his wife for their wedding day. Another treat is the lively “Daddy’s Day,” featuring the couple’s 9-year-old daughter, Jayda.
