Days after she gave birth, Yasmien Kurdi finally revealed the face of her second child whom she named Raya Layla.
The actress showed her newborn daughter sleeping peacefully while tucked in a blanket on her bed, through Kurdi’s Instagram page on Wednesday, May 1.
“Hello, I’m new here! My name is Raya Layla, and I’m the new ruler of the cutie pies,” Kurdi captioned the post.
In separate photos, Kurdi gave a glimpse of Raya with her older sister Ayesha; the medical staff who assisted the actress while giving birth; and a snap of the mother and daughter’s breastfeeding moment.
“Gusto ko mag-thank you din pala sa mga nag-assist sa amin na nurses and nursing aids. Kakauwi pa lang namin,” she shared.
“Thank you din sa housekeeping na naglilinis ng room namin at sa nagde-deliver ng food and water,” she added. “Sobrang alaga niyong lahat. Tthank you talaga.”
Kurdi received congratulatory greetings from fellow celebrities who also complimented her newborn child via the comments section.

Kurdi shares her two daughters with her non-showbiz husband Rey Soldevilla Jr., with whom she tied the knot in 2012. The couple welcomed their firstborn Yesha in the same year.
Kurdi announced her second pregnancy in November last year, then gave birth to Raya last April 28 via cesarean section.
