The 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant continues to court the public’s attention with the release of the delegates’ “Up Close & Personal” interview videos.
“Watch UP CLOSE & PERSONAL, our Personality Interviews with the delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2024. Here, the delegates were given 30 seconds to answer each of the three questions asked by MUPH Executive Vice President Voltaire Tayag,” the national pageant organization posted on social media.

The interviews, uploaded on the Empire Philippines YouTube channel, also opens another round of public voting.
“Get to know what the ladies think about a range of topics, then vote for the delegate whom you think shows her personality best,” the organization said.
The delegate with the most votes on this round will earn a guaranteed spot in the semifinals. Voting will be on the Miss Universe Philippines mobile app.
To vote, go to the “Challenge Vote” tab, then choose the delegate. “The winner will be based purely on number of votes. In case of a tie, MUPH will determine the winning delegate,” the organization said.
Fifty-three delegates are competing this year to succeed reigning queen Michelle Marquez Dee, and become the country’s representative in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico later this year.
The coronation show of the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 22, with 2022 Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel and actor Alden Richards as hosts. “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World ” season 2 finalist Marina Summers and pop band Lola Amour performing.
