Are Miles Ocampo and Elijah Canlas back in each other’s arms? Fans were gushing after the former couple were seen celebrating the actress’ birthday together with friends.
Canlas was among those who surprised Ocampo on her birthday, as shown in the videos shared by the actress-TV host on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 2.
In one of the clips, Ocampo walked into a room where her friends in party hats waited for her with cakes and birthday candles to blow out. Canlas, meanwhile, was walking behind the actress and recording her reaction through a video recorder.
During the intimate gathering, the actor also brought a cake and held it while Ocampo made her wish and blew out the candle.

Canlas greeted Ocampo through his Instagram Stories as well, showing a photo of them where the actress can be seen leaning on his shoulder.
“Thank you for regularly making all of us smile one way or another, birthday girl,” he wrote. “You are always loved.”

Meanwhile, Ocampo also had a celebration with her Dabarkads family on the Wednesday episode of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga.” Ocampo sang Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and danced alongside fellow hosts Ryzza Mae Dizon and Atasha Muhlach.
Ocampo was also surprised by actor Kiko Estrada with a bouquet of flowers.
“Gusto ko lang pong mag-thank you, Dabarkads. Hindi ko po makakalimutan ‘yung unang pasok ko sa ‘Bulaga,’ parang one month pa lang ako noon pero binigyan niyo ako ng birthday prod agad,” an emotional Ocampo said.
“Hindi ko inexpect ever na magiging parte ako ng pamilyang ito, so thank you po… Forever ko pong sasabihin ng legit Dabarkads ako!” she declared.
Ocampo and Canlas were together for over two years before their breakup was confirmed to the public in November last year.
The pair then sparked reconciliation rumors in March after they were spotted together at Maine Mendoza’s birthday party. In the same month, Ocampo admitted that she and Canlas were trying to rekindle their relationship.
Ocampo and Canlas have yet to confirm the status of their relationship as of this writing.
