Orange & Lemons expressed gratitude to fans who attended their recent gig in San Jose, Mindoro, seemingly opting to remain silent on the alleged walkout incident involving actress Francine Diaz that transpired during the event.

The OPM band showed a clip from their performance through their Facebook page on Wednesday, May 1.

“Grabe kayo magmahal San Jose. Ramdam namin yun!” it said. “Walang pagod, puyat or pawis na makakapigil kahit ala una na ng umaga. Maraming salamat!”

(Your warmth is extraordinary, San Jose. We felt it! Nothing can stop us—not even fatigue, lack of sleep or sweat at 1 a.m. Thank you so much!)

In a separate post, the band also asked for help in locating an audience member in wheelchair, saying they want to “personally apologize” to him.

“During the last song, the audience at the front stood up. So this poor fella was blocked and was lifted on stage,” it said, showing a video of the audience member watching at the stage while the band was performing.

“We signaled the security to bring him right next to us to share the stage. Anyone in San Jose knows who he is? Cause we would like to personally apologize,” the band added.

No word on the alleged walkout incident was immediately shared on the band’s Facebook page.

Orange & Lemons and Diaz were among the performers at the event organized by the local government unit of San Jose.

In the videos making the rounds on social media, the OPM band was already on stage when Diaz entered, greeted the audience, and cued the music for her performance. The band members, who were standing behind the actress, were noticeably dismayed while in discussion with some staff members.

Diaz went on with her performance while the band could be heard strumming their guitar in the background, but not in the tune of the song the actress was singing. A few moments later, the band members left the stage.

Diaz has yet to comment on the matter, although she shared a photo after the event with the caption “respect goes both ways,” which some netizens believe is alluding to the incident.
