Camille Prats gifts son Nathan purity ring to save himself for marriage
Camille Prats stood as a guide for her son Nathan as they attended a Purity Ball where he received a purity ring as a reminder to stay pure before marriage.
Prats shared glimpses of their mother-and-son bonding at the ball on her Instagram page last Sunday, April 28, where Nathan vowed to “stay pure until he finds the one” in the grace of God. They were also joined by the actress’ stepson, Ice.
Among the photos showed the silver purity ring laden in a box, which included a verse from the bible.
“My boy you are indeed growing and I can no longer help it! But by God’s grace, He has given us clear instructions on how we can walk with Him,” she wrote. “We made a vow together as mom and son to stay pure until he finds the one whom he wants to bring to God to spend the rest of his life with.”

Prats hoped the event served as a reminder to her son to be obedient to God as it “brings blessings.”

The mother-and-son bonding earned praise from the actress’ followers in the comments, including fellow celebrity moms Iya Villania and Miriam Quiambao.
Nathan is Prats’ son with her late husband Anthony Linsangan, who died of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in September 2011.
The former child star remarried businessman John Yambao in January 2017. They have two children together, Nala and Nolan. Yambao also has a son from a previous marriage.
