Charo Santos pokes fun at meme with Regine Velasquez during Angeline Quinto’s wedding

The inimitable Charo Santos-Concio found humor in a meme that she found on social media about a photo of her stern-looking self beside a cackling Regine Velasquez during the wedding of Angeline Quintos at the Quiapo Church last April 25.
In her Instagram Story, Santos reposted a photo card shared by a certain @BIENsays that showed her looking so serious, while Velasquez was busy giggling behind a native hand fan while talking to ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes.
Santos, Velasquez and Vidanes were among the principal sponsors of Quintos’ wedding to her non-showbiz partner Nonrev Daquina.
The netizen, who tagged Velasquez on X, jokingly called out the singer-actress for being noisy while in church, and signed out as in the style of Santos in her drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
“Dear @reginevalcasid, ang ingay ninyo. Nasa simbahan pa naman tayo. Nagtitimpi, Charo,” the post read. (Dear Regine, you’re noisy. We’re in church. Holding it in, Charo.)

In sharing the screenshot of the meme, Santos also tagged the “Dadalhin” hitmaker. “Ang kuleeeet (This is funny),” she wrote.
