Makati lass tops Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear contest
Sam Samara, Makati City’s representative in the 2024 Miss Philippines Earth pageant, has topped the Beach Wear Competition held in Eastern Samar.
Wearing a flowy white frock with flower prints in black and magenta, she bested the 28 other delegates to snag the gold medal at the auxiliary event held in Borongan City on April 25.
Settling for the silver medal was Kristel Codas from Iligan City, while Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche from Matanao, Davao Del Sur, competed the winners’ circle with her bronze medal.
This year’s pageant is looking for a worthy successor to Yllana Marie Aduana, last year’s winner who was crowned Miss Earth-Air at the 2023 Miss Earth pageant held in Vietnam in December.
The 2024 Miss Philippines Earth pageant will hold its coronation show in the town of Talakag in Bukidnon Province on May 11.

The Philippines is the best-performing country in the international pageant with four winners—Karla Henry (2008), Jamie Herrell (2014), Angelia Ong (2015) and Karen Ibasco (2017).
