JK Labajo assured his fans that he is doing fine and healing well following an accident while doing a show in Orani, Bataan.

On Sunday, Labajo took to Instagram to show his left ankle which was wrapped in a bandage while he was being attended to by a medical team. Despite this, he wore a smile on his face while flashing his thumb up.

“Isa sa mga pinaka energetic at pinakamagandang crowd na nakasama namin this year! Orani, talagang nahulog ako sa inyo! Sobrang saya! Hanggang sa muli,” he wrote.

While Labajo himself hasn’t disclosed the cause of his injury, Instagram users @natuniol and @jennieofherr said the singer-actor tripped while coming upstage during the gig in the comments.

Meanwhile, Labajo’s close friend Moira Dela Torre and girlfriend Dia Mate found humor in Labajo’s incident.

Labajo was confirmed as one of the leads of “Senior High” sequel “High Street” which also stars Andrea Brillantes, Xyriel Manabat, and Elijah Canlas. Details on the plot and premiere date are yet to be disclosed.

The singer-actor made headlines after calling out parents who brought a seven-month-old baby to his gig, to which the mother never admitted any liability for her actions.
