Actress-host Kim Chiu showed off her chic and short-haired look as she marked her 34th birthday on Friday, April 19.
On Instagram, the actress posted a video of herself looking confident and gorgeous with her long hair cut short, sporting a new fierce look.
“A year older. Braver. Stronger. Smarter. Wiser.” she wrote in her caption. “Thank you for remembering my special day, and thank you for all the lovely, heartwarming greetings you sent me here on social media and thru personal messages. It made my heart smile a little extra today.”
In the comment section of her video post, her fellow celebrities expressed their love and greeted Chiu, including Melai Cantiveros, Iza Calzado, Vina Morales and Bella Padilla.
Her current on-screen partner, Paulo Avelino, also greeted the Kapamilya actress in his Instagram Story, simply writing, “Happy birthday,” on Chiu’s picture showing her back.

Chiu shares the same birthday with Kris Aquino’s son, Bimby. Aquino greeted Chiu in the same Instagram post she posted for her son, who turned 17 this year.
Chiu currently stars in the Philippine adaptation of the K-drama series “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” alongside Avelino. She also appeared in “Linlang,” “Bride for Rent” and “One Great Love.” She is a regular host on ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
