Actress Rhian Ramos happily announced that she was finally going home after sleeping in the Dubai airport for two days because of canceled flights brought about by heavy rainfall.
On her Instagram story, Ramos shared a picture of the chaos in the Dubai airport as well as a picture of her sleeping space on the airport floor and her scarred foot.
“Going home after 2 days of sleeping on airport floors. Thank you, Lord!,” she wrote in her caption.
Four hours before she announced that she was finally flying home, the Kapuso actress took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to ask for help in rebooking their flight back to the Philippines.
“Is there anyone from Emirates in Dubai that can help us? [tears emoji] We need to rebook, please,” she said.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its neighboring countries had witnessed their heaviest rainfall in 75 years, as floods took the lives of 20 people in Oman and one in the UAE.
The heavy rains did not only cause floods and shattered building structures, but also affected operations at Dubai International Airport, the second-busiest airport in the world.
UAE’s state-run news agency called the rain “a historic weather event” that surpassed “anything documented since the start of data collection in 1949.”
