ABS-CBN has released an advisory against unauthorized auditions and casting calls for its leading shows including “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” and “Pinoy Big Brother,” asking the public to “exercise caution.”

“It has come to our attention that individuals are falsely posting and promoting auditions and casting calls for ABS-CBN’s ‘Pinoy Big Brother (PBB),’ ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ and ‘High Street.’ We want to emphasize to the public that these private auditions and casting calls are not authorized, endorsed, or sanctioned by ABS-CBN,” the network said in its advisory.

“ABS-CBN is only holding auditions for ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ and Star Magic on April 27 at Robinsons Novaliches, April 28 at Robinsons Las Piñas, and May 4 to 5 at KCC Mall of Gensan,” it said.

The advisory further said that there will be separate on-ground auditions for Visayas and Mindanao, as well as online auditions, adding all updates regarding these auditions will be posted on the official Facebook and other accounts of PBB.

It pointed out that no “casting calls or auditions are being conducted for ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ and ‘High Street’ at this time.”

“Your safety is important to us, Kapamilya. We ask everyone to exercise caution and refrain from engaging with unauthorized individuals claiming to hold auditions or casting calls on behalf of ABS-CBN,” the advisory concluded.

Meanwhile, Sparkle GMA Artist Center also issued an advisory regarding “unauthorized recruitment activities” making the rounds online, saying it will “never ask individuals to attend casting auditions, whether in person or online, where they will be required to take off their clothes.”
