Ina Raymundo and Will Ashley will pair up in a new movie revolving around a May-December romance between “two strangers” as they go on a “life-changing road trip” together.

Raymundo took to her Instagram account on Sunday, April 7, to announce her new film “X&Y,” while sharing a poster of herself with Ashley leaning on her back.

“It’s the unexpected that changes our lives. Y.O.L.O. The best love is unexpected. Two different souls who found each other while on a life-changing journey,” her caption read.

The film’s director Adolfo Alix also shared the film’s poster on his Instagram account with the same caption.

In a separate Instagram post, Alix shared a glimpse of Raymundo and Ashley’s chemistry in the film’s trailer which showed the “Can’t Buy Me Love” star at the peak of her career while the latter is still in the process of reaching his.

Their characters soon meet in “one long painful journey” until they are seen sharing their sorrows through alcohol.

The film, which premieres in April, also stars Elizabeth Oropesa, Bembol Roco, Bugoy Cariño, Divine Tetay, Thor Gomez, Rico Barrera, Vien del Rosario, Kirst Viray, Ron Angeles, and Jake Rosales.

Since the 1990s, Raymundo has been gracing the screen for being a sexy symbol of an empowered woman, appearing in several film and television shows, most recent of which was in “Can’t Buy Me Love.”

Ashley, meanwhile, starred in the teleseryes “Unbreak My Heart,” “Prima Donnas,” and “Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters.”
