Han So-hee, Ryu Jun-yeol turn down their roles in ‘Delusion’ after split
Ex-partners Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol were initially in talks to star in an upcoming thriller called “Delusion,” but were eventually confirmed to have signed off on the project.
Han and Ryu made headlines after they were confirmed to be dating on March 16, with the actress making a point of saying there was no overlap between her and the latter’s ex-girlfriend, Hyeri. Their relationship eventually ended in a breakup two weeks later.
But before their relationship was made public, they were in talks to star in “Delusion” on March 6, per Korean media outlets. It remained unknown if the project would be a movie or a series.
Days after their split was confirmed, an anonymous source from the project’s production company said talks on their casting were “halted” but filming would still push through.
“Discussions on Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee’s appearance in ‘Delusion’ have been halted. The production of ‘Delusion’ will proceed as is,” a source from production company Showbox said, via a Soompi translation.

Meanwhile, Han’s agency 9ato Entertainment has yet to comment on the reports, as of this writing.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Delusion” revolves around an artist Yun I-ho who was paid to paint a portrait of a certain Song Jeong-hwa. The thriller is said to be set in Gyeongseong (or present-day Seoul), South Korea in 1935 and Shanghai, China in the 1800s.
