Maymay Entrata, underwent water baptism on Easter Sunday as she looked back on her journey as a Christian which started in 2015 before she “took the wrong path.”

Entrata took to her Instagram account on Sunday, March 31, to show glimpses of her water baptism where she was prayed for by her churchmates and declared that she is with “Jesus in the resurrection.”

“I’ve been a Christian since 2015, got lost when I entered the industry. Was invited and attended favor church last 2019, [and] took the wrong path again, not until 2023 when I slowly came back to Him,” she wrote.

For Entrata, experiencing the love of God “without condemning who [she] was and what [she] did” led her to surrender to her faith.

“It is He who is in control of my life and not me. Now, I want to seek Him first before anything else because I know by doing so, everything will fall into its right place,” she said. “Jesus, this is me, who is publicly declaring that I am with you, I’m dying from my sins and I am with you in the resurrection.”

The “Pinoy Big Brother” alum also shared that the “color of [her baptism] video suddenly changed” after she got up from the water which, according to her, was a reminder of how Jesus was baptized by John.

“I didn’t bother about it but then I [remembered] someone gave me another video earlier, and then I got goosebumps coz the light was from outside, above the sky. I just remember when Jesus was baptized by John,” she wrote.

Entrata previously caught the attention of netizens after she unfollowed her non-showbiz boyfriend Aaron Haskell on Instagram, which led some to speculate that they have parted ways.
