Former sexy star Sabrina M, who caused a stir after claiming in July that she had a secret relationship with Rico Yan, remembered the late matinee idol on his 22nd death anniversary.
The actress, whose real name is Maricaren Pallasigue, took to her Facebook page on Friday, March 29, to pay a brief tribute to Yan.
“Remembering Rico Yan. 22nd death anniversary,” she said in the caption.
Some netizens showed their support for the former sexy star and her alleged past romance with Yan in the comments, while others noted that the late matinee actor’s ex-girlfriend Claudine Barretto might express her protest.

The former sexy star made headlines last July in a press conference for her film “Manang” after declaring that she and Rico were in a relationship but that they opted to keep their romance under close wraps.
The revelation led Barretto to mull over a legal action against her, although it remains unclear whether that pushed through. Meanwhile, Yan’s family appealed to the public to stop making “unfair” claims about the late actor’s life as he’s not around to deny them.
