Now it can be told, said Elizabeth Oropesa, that among her many leading men, the late Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ) was the best kisser onscreen, describing their lip-locking moments as passionate and comparable to eating Belgian chocolate.
At the continuation of her interview with Boy Abunda, Oropesa was cautious enough to reveal her preference for the late Action King when she was asked who among her onscreen partners would she consider to be the best kisser.
“Maniwala ka sa hindi, si Kuya Ronnie (FPJ). Best kisser, lips my God so soft, kasi disente siya humalik, very tender, very loving. Basta napakasarap! Kung siya ay tsokolate, Belgian. It melts in your mouth!” declared the actress.

Oropesa remarked that she only made the revelation now as she was reserved in the past in deference to the late veteran actress Susan Roces, the wife of FPJ.
“Ngayon ko lang nasabi kasi patay na si Ate Susan, nahiya naman ako baka pa pagdudahan,” she said. (I only got to reveal it now because Ate Susan is dead. I was embarrassed. Maybe she will doubt me at the time.)
Oropesa and FPJ have worked together in the classic films “Aguila,” “Bontoc,” and “Alupihang Dagat.”
