Xian Lim learns love ‘is painful and magical’ but ‘disappears at certain point’
Xian Lim shared that the lesson he learned about love is that it is “painful” and tends to “disappear” at some point.
“Love is very painful, and it’s also a very magical feeling. I think that’s what love does to you but at a certain point, love disappears,” he said during a recent appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
The Kapuso actor remarked that love is also about “choices” when a couple encounters struggles.
“And I think, doon na magiging choice ang pagmamahalan (it is the time you need to choose love). You choose to stay together and you choose to fight for each other, no matter what it is,” he said.
Lim also agreed with Boy Abunda that even if a couple needs to choose each other, they can also choose “to walk away” when love is no longer enough.

The “Bride for Rent” actor was previously in a relationship with actress-host Kim Chiu for 12 years. They confirmed their separation in December.
Chiu recently said that she’s open to working with her ex-boyfriend now that ABS-CBN inked a contract with GMA Network to formally air “It’s Showtime” on their network.
“Ok lang naman. Mag-guest siya sa It’s Showtime or mag-prod siya. Hindi naman kami magkaaway,” said the actress.

Lim is rumored to be dating film producer Iris Lee, and the “Linlang” actress said that she had no idea about her ex-boyfriend’s “new love.”
