Is Sarah Geronimo making her comeback film with award-winning director Mikhail Red? Some fans think so after the two of them were revealed to be working together on a new project.
Geronimo and Red were photographed together, with an eerie image flashed on the television screen behind them, as seen on Viva Artists Agency’s Instagram page on Tuesday, March 19.
In the caption, Viva only tagged the Instagram handles of Geronimo and Red, then wrote “SOON.”
Red—best known for his films “Deleter,” “Eerie” and “Birdshot”—showed the same photo via his Instagram page, eliciting speculations from fans that he will be directing a new horror film starring the actress-singer.

Further details on the project have yet to be disclosed as of this writing.
If the project is indeed a film, it would be Geronimo’s comeback movie after five years. Her previous movie was “Unforgettable,” released in 2019.
Meanwhile, Geronimo recently made history as the first homegrown Filipina to receive the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. The OPM superstar was included in the list of honorees alongside Italian singer-songwriter Annalisa and Brazilian singer-songwriter Luisa Sonza.
