Broadcast journalist Marc Logan is officially a Kapatid as he signed a contract with TV5 after serving as one of ABS-CBN’s news icons for 28 years.

Logan, who’s best known for his signature tongue-in-cheek reporting and his funny segment “Mga Kwento ni Marc Logan” on ABS-CBN’s flagship news program TV Patrol, joined the Kapatid network in March, according to a release.

The broadcast journalist is set to headline his new show “Top 5 Mga Kwentong Marc Logan,” which aims to “provide much-needed laughter and relief” to the audience. The show will start airing on April 6.

“[Logan] will be taking viewers on an amusing journey from trending topics to interesting stories of people, places, and events. This exciting new show offers a unique blend of humor, entertainment, and insightful storytelling,” TV5 said.

The show will also contain three segments: “Taba ng U-Talk,” “ManOpet,” and “Pakitalk-kitalk” which will showcase Logan’s knack for “quirky news stories” and “signature presentation.”

Logan was first hired as a desk editor in ABS-CBN in 1996 before he was tapped to “read humorous segments” on the flagship news show in the same year. He left his home network in February 2024.
