“It’s Showtime” will reportedly fill in the noontime slot vacated by TAPE Inc.’s “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” on GMA Network’s channel 7, showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz said citing multiple sources.

“Tatlo na ang nakakausap ko na iisa lang ang sinasabi. Mukhang totoo ngang ang ‘It’s Showtime’ na ang ookupa ng noontime show ng GMA-7 na iniwan ng ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,'” Diaz said through his Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update YouTube channel on Friday, March 15.

(I have spoken to three individuals and they are all saying the same thing. It appears that “It’s Showtime” will indeed occupy the noontime slot vacated by “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” on GMA channel 7.)

“Ang sabi ay hintayin na lang daw natin ang formal announcement,” he added, but noted that both the network and the ABS-CBN noontime show have yet to confirm such claims. (They said we should just wait for the formal announcement.)

The speculations were also apparently fueled by “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda’s cryptic remark about “best days” during the program’s March 12 episode.

“[Let’s] manifest the best days! The best days are coming!” she exclaimed. “Every day dapat nagho-hope tayo (we should hope) that the best days are coming.”

“Kahit anong ganda ng araw natin, may igaganda pa ‘yan bukas. May ibobongga pa ‘yan sa mga susunod na araw, susunod na buwan. Kumapit lang kayo dahil bonggang blessings at answered prayers ang matatanggap natin,” she added.

(No matter how good our day was, there is always something better to look forward to in the next few days and months. Just hold tight because big blessings and answered prayers await us.)

The ABS-CBN noontime show currently airs on GMA Network’s second free-to-air channel, GTV.

The Kapuso network’s noontime slot on its main channel was vacated after “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” ended its run due to TAPE’s “unwanted circumstances.” GMA then launched “Lunchtime Movie Hits” to temporarily take over the slot.
