While the heartfelt eulogies and tributes at Jaclyn Jose’s wake touched on various aspects of the late show biz icon’s life and career, their overarching theme was her boundless capacity to love.

Hearing all the kind words and precious anecdotes from the people who cared for her mother, Andi Eigenmann couldn’t help but turn emotional.

“People point out how much my mom loved me and my brother (Gwen Garimond Guck). That’s how big her heart was. Sobra, sobra, sobra n’ya kaming minahal. But even with all the love she had given us, somehow, she still managed to save enough love for everyone else,” Andi said.

Jaclyn loved to love and be loved. “Besides dedicating her life to me and my brother, she also dedicated her life to her craft that she was so passionate about. Mahal na mahal niya kayong lahat. And I just know that she’s very happy to know that all you people she loved, love her back,” Andi said. INQ
