Preparations are underway for the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant, which will be held a second time in India after 28 years. This edition also marked the return of the pageant since 2022 after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On her Instagram, Fourniol took time off her preparation to have a night of fun with her Miss World sisters from 111 other countries, including her roomie, Indonesia’s Audrey Vanessa Susilo, who showcased their talent onstage.
“It was a memorable evening filled with incredible people coming together for a meaningful cause. Can’t wait to cherish this beautiful dress as a reminder of the wonderful memories created at the event. Remembering the laughter, joy, and generosity shared amongst all who attended – it was an unforgettable experience that I am grateful to have been part of,” she wrote.
In another post, the Negros Occidental native shared a few photos as she bonded with her fellow delegates during the event.
“Snaps from the Beauty with a Purpose Gala. I feel so empowered after hearing all my sister’s causes and their talents, which were showcased on stage,” she said.
With the Miss World 2024 coronation night just around the corner, Fourniol is currently yielding positive results for the country as she made it to the Top 23 of the Talent Competition and previously secured a spot in the Top 25 of the Head-to-Head Challenge, qualifying for the Sports Challenge Final.
The 21-year-old stunner has also asked the help of the Filipinos for the Multimedia Award challenge as the candidate who wins the challenge will be given a spot in the pageant’s finals.
Fourniol took home the Miss World Philippines crown in 2022 and was initially to compete for the title in December 2023, but the competition was delayed and is now set to be held on March 9, 2024, in Mumbai, India.
