“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot welcomed a new member to their house of girls as she gave birth to her fourth daughter in a pregnancy that she successfully kept under wraps.
On Instagram, Gadot surprised everyone by sharing a photo of her holding her newly born daughter, Ori, noting that the journey to bring her to the world was not easy.
“My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through. You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude. Welcome to the house of girls. Daddy is pretty cool too,” she wrote.
Despite riding the stardom, Gadot has managed to live a private life with her daughters and husband, Jaron Varsano, whom she married in 2008.
Ahead of this fourth pregnancy, the “Red Notice” actress did not share any pregnancy images. There were also no reports in the past that she was expecting, although she was last seen in Netflix’s 2023 spy action thriller “Heart of Stone” and during the red carpet premiere of “Barbie” in July.
In an interview with InStyle in 2022, the Miss Universe Israel 2004 expressed how much she enjoys giving a human being life despite how hard pregnancies are for her.
“I love giving birth. I would do it once a week if I could. It’s so magical. And I always take epidurals, to be fair, so it’s not so painful. Just the moment you feel like you’re creating life, it’s incredible,” she said.
“[Although] pregnancies are hard for me. I feel sick and have migraines. I’m not in my element,” added the actress.
Speaking to Flaunt Magazine in 2023, Gadot stressed that being a mother of then just three children is difficult, yet she aspires to be the best mother she could be.
“Having three children is messy and chaotic in the best way possible. If you’re at work, you want to be home. Then, when you’re at home with the kids, you worry you’re not working enough. It can be a vicious cycle but you have to mute those feelings… I told myself that I can only do my best and that I’m being the best mother I can be,” she remarked.
