Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson seemed to have confirmed the dating speculations hounding them after they were spotted hugging and holding hands at a beach in Mexico.
Nyong’o and Jackson reportedly had a beach getaway for the “Black Panther” actress’ 41st birthday, sources told People as per a report on Tuesday, March 5.
In the photos obtained by the publication, Nyong’o and Jackson, both in their swimming attire, were locked in an embrace with their faces very close to each other.
“They only had eyes for each other all weekend. They kept kissing, laughing and just had the best time,” the insider was quoted as saying.
Another unnamed source disclosed to E! News that the “Dawson’s Creek” actor also surprised the Kenyan-Mexican actress with balloons and flowers on her actual birthday on March 1.
“They looked madly in love, like they just couldn’t get enough of one another,” the eyewitness told the publication.
Dating speculations involving the actors first emerged in October 2023 after they were spotted together at Janelle Monáe’s concert in Los Angeles.
At the time, Nyong’o had just announced her breakup with TV host Selema Masekela. In the same month, Jackson’s wife, actress-model Jodie Turner-Smith, filed for divorce from the actor, citing irreconcilable differences.
Nyong’o and Jackson have yet to publicly speak up on their romance as of this writing.
