Taylor Swift says hair returned to ‘factory settings’ due to humidity in SG
Taylor Swift drew laughs from her “The Eras Tour” audience in Singapore after she made fun of how the humidity brought her styled hair back to its natural curls.
In a clip from the American singer-songwriter show on Sunday, March 3, shared by The Eras Tour Singapore on X, Swift was seen strumming her guitar while talking about the humid weather in the country and the effect it had on her hair.
“As you can see, my hair has returned to its factory settings, thanks to the humidity here. I’m not complaining,” she clarified. “I like it.”
Swift then commended her fans for their warm welcome and lively appearance amid the weather.
“…It’s very humid and you guys have just turned it up 100% all night,” she said. “You’ve been dancing, you’ve been standing and taking pictures all night, and you look so cute—like, ‘Why am I sweating so much?’, then I’m looking at you, you all look perfect.”

Swift is halfway through her six-day “The Eras Tour” show in Singapore—her only stop in Southeast Asia—scheduled on March 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9.
Singapore’s government had given Swift a grant to perform in the city-state, with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong saying their agencies “negotiated an arrangement with her to come to Singapore and perform, and to make Singapore her only stop in Southeast Asia.”
This exclusivity deal with Singapore was questioned by Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Salceda, with the latter saying that such practice was not “what good neighbors do.”
Lee, in response, underscored that he “[doesn’t] see that as being unfriendly.”
