Days after confirming going through “challenges” in her relationship with Sam Milby, Catriona Gray appears to have taken some time off and gone on a beach trip in Batangas.
The beauty queen gave a glimpse of her vacation at a resort in Anilao, Batangas, via her Instagram page on Friday, March 1. Accompanying Gray in her trip were celebrity stylist Justine Aliman and video creator Jolo Luarca.
“Woke up in paradise,” she said, showing the view of the sea from her balcony.
In a separate Instagram Story, she showed herself flaunting her beach look.

Meanwhile, instead of comments on the beauty queen’s beach trip, netizens flooded the comments section with remarks and messages of support for Gray and Milby.

Speculations that Gray and Milby had broken up made rounds on social media after Gray was apparently seen not wearing her engagement ring during an event. Furthermore, showbiz insider Ogie Diaz cited an anonymous source claiming that the pair has indeed parted ways.
The couple’s talent label, Cornerstone Entertainment, then confirmed that Gray and Milby are “currently facing some challenges in their relationship,” although it stressed that the pair “are actively working to resolve these issues together.”
“We kindly request that everyone respect their privacy during this time as they navigate through this situation,” the entertainment agency appealed. “We appreciate the concern and well-wishes from all those who have shown support for the couple.”
Gray and Milby announced their engagement in February 2023. In a November 2023 interview, the actor said their wedding was scheduled this 2024.
