The PorDee fever is strong as ever, as Michelle Dee and Thai beauty queen Anntonia Porsild showed off their close bond while turning up the heat in a sultry shoot for a local fashion magazine.

Dee and Porsild, whose close friendship made waves during their Miss Universe 2023 stint, sizzled in a series of summer-ready photos where they donned matching gold two-piece bikinis and black swimsuits with cut-outs by fashion designer Glademir Echavarre, as they did various sultry poses at a luxury resort in Parañaque City.

Their looks were put together by makeup artists Dave Quiambao and Gery Penaso and celebrity stylist Ryuji Shiomitsu for a Mega Magazine cover shoot captured by Dookie Ducay, as seen on the latter’s Instagram account on Thursday, Feb. 29.

The fashion magazine also uploaded the highlights of Dee and Porsild’s seductive shoot on its social media platforms.

In the cover story, Dee and Porsild recalled how their friendship began, wherein the Thai beauty queen said she first saw the former “walk through the [Miss Universe registration] as if she owned the place.

“We sat next to each other on the bus one day, and she had moved her bag for me to sit on the seat next to her. And then, she introduced me to this herbal inhaler. Then, we just started talking,” Porsild was quoted as saying.

Both beauty queens also agreed their friendship is an idea to show the Filipino and Thai pageant communities that there’s no need to “create conflict” since their “sisterhood” goes beyond the coveted crown.

“It’s like showing the world that while pageantry is a competition — because at the end of the day, there’s only one winner — essentially, it’s really a sisterhood, where you want to help each other grow,” said Dee in the interview.

Dee and Porsild were glad that their close bond eventually shifted the focus of their respective fanbases’ “negativity,” saying they “actually focused on this friendship that was flourishing.”

“The friendship is very authentic. It’s genuine. It’s nice — even after Miss Universe, people still believe that we stand for unity and they like seeing that,” said the Kapuso star.

Porsild was named as first runner-up in the 2023 edition of the global tilt, while Dee finished her Miss Universe journey at the Top 10. She, however, brought home four special awards at the end of the pageant.
