Tom Rodriguez creates new Instagram account

Following his return to the Philippines last month, Tom Rodriguez has joined the social media world again via a new Instagram account.
Rodriguez took a hiatus from showbiz for two years and flew to Arizona, United States after his separation from Carla Abellana. He marked his return in the industry on Feb. 11 in an episode of the Sunday noontime show “All Out Sundays.”
In his new Instagram account, the Kapuso star posted a few pictures of himself and some TikTok videos where he’s singing songs such as “Raining in Manila” and “Until I Found You,” among others.
In one of the videos, the “My Husband’s Lover” actor was seen driving and jamming in his car as he stressed that it’s been his first time again to roam around the country and run some errands.

The “My Destiny” actor also thanked his dental clinic in one of his posts and wrote, “I’m so happy na naalagaan ulit ang ngiti ko dito! Thank you so much for always helping me smile confidently,”
Rodriguez deactivated his first Instagram account in February 2023 after the airing of Abellana’s interview with Boy Abunda, where she detailed their split.
Before he deleted his account, the actor posted some cryptic posts alluding to their breakup where he received a few negative comments from the netizens.
Abellana and Rodriguez dated for seven years before tying the knot in October 2021. Their marriage lasted for three months.
Despite the controversial breakup, the actress said she had moved on from her former husband, affirming she’s already in a peace and self-love journey.
“Oo naman po, definitely po. Nahanap ko na po ‘yung aking peace. Talagang nasara ko na po ‘yung chapter na ‘yun ng aking buhay. Lagpas-lagpas pa po ako sa pagmu-move on,” she said on Unang Balita.
The “Stolen Life” actress also shared that she is ready to meet Rodriguez if their paths cross again.
Meanwhile, the singer-actor has yet to comment on Abellana upon his return, but in the past, he said in his first and final statement posted on his old Instagram account that he has accepted Abellana’s decision to part ways and move on from him.
