Actress displeased over costar’s display of surprising ineptness

While her romances with past boyfriends sometimes make Seasoned Actress (SA) appear unprepared for long and steady relationships, no one can accuse SA of being unprepared on a movie or TV set. Nope, turning in shoddy work isn’t SA’s cup of tea.

Truth is, SA doesn’t really care if she sees colleagues slacking off—unless their “lazy,” “bahala na” habits begin affecting their scenes with her.

But SA’s patience was tested during one fateful taping, Reliable Mole (RM) told Rushes. SA’s cheerful mood quickly turned sour when Veteran Actress (VA) kept flubbing her lines, prolonging SA’s scenes unnecessarily and requiring numerous takes. As a result, VA kept apologizing to SA for causing the delay.

Seeing that VA was already embarrassed by her surprising display of ineptness, Floor Director (FD) asked SA to go back to her tent while VA sorted out her lines. FD said they could do the easier sequences first before reshooting VA’s scenes with SA.

But SA refused to budge. She “demanded” to finish the scene and refused to be “held hostage” by VA’s “problematic situation.” So, while it took the team more takes to finish the scene, they eventually managed to pull it off… But it would probably be VA’s last project with SA.

Moral of the story? If you’re lucky enough to work with fine actors, do your homework and work very hard to live up to their standards. If you can’t, it’s probably best to look for another line of work.
