Filipino drag queen Taylor Sheesh was featured in the Australian talk show Today after staging the “Errors Tour” — an apparent play on Taylor Swift’s ongoing The Eras Tour — in the country.
Sheesh was introduced as a drag artist who “took Tiktok by storm” after taking on the persona of Swift in multiple performances not only in the Philippines but also in other countries.
The drag performer had since been making waves for impersonating Swift in her performances, notably after the latter “missed out on a visit” in the Philippines, per Today’s report.
“I didn’t expect to go viral so we’re forever grateful for what’s happening right now,” said Sheesh in her appearance on the Australian talk show.
“I want to express my talent in an artful way. I really want to relate to my [fellow Taylor Swift fans] as a Swiftie.”

Sheesh also talked about performing for Australian Swifties at the Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia during the interview, saying she’s still in disbelief after drawing a “massive crowd.”
“Last night, we didn’t expect that we would have a massive crowd. The Aussie Swifties were insane and wild, they gave 100,000 of their energy from the start to the finish of our show,” she said.
Since 2023, Sheesh became an internet sensation after taking on the role of Swift in many performances, which is said to be the “closest one Filipinos will ever get” to the latter’s The Eras Tour.
The drag artist was also featured in many international media outlets including The Washington Post, NPR, The Guardian, and Mashable, just to name a few.
Swift is currently holding her massive “The Eras Tour” which is a trip down the many “eras” in her music career. Only Japan and Singapore were included in the concert’s Asian leg.
