Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings dazzled the fans with their chemistry as they starred in Darren Espanto’s recently released music video for the song “Iyo.”
On Wednesday, February 14, Star Music unveiled the music video that showed the Kapamilya love team in their bubble of sweet moments. They were wearing a wedding outfit in one of the scenes of the music video.
Racal as Irene and Jennings as Snoop are part of the hit teleserye “Can’t Buy Me Love,” starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. Their love team, “Snooprene,” was coined after netizens noticed their onscreen chemistry as they go viral with every episode they are together, given their memes and swoon-worthy moments.
Unlike in the music video, where the Kapamilya stars were acting so affectionately with each other, in “Can’t Buy Me Love,” the two were often shown annoying each other, and making sparks fly with every witty comebacks that they exchange.
Netizens can’t help but gush over Snooprene’s sweet moments in the music video and commend Espanto’s song that compliments the love team.

On Instagram, Racal shared a few photos from behind the scenes of the music video, and wrote, “Snoop and Irene in another dimension,” given that it’s very rare for the love team to be seen sweet around each other.

Jennings said in a previous interview that he is “overwhelmed” with the way the viewers received his onscreen partnership with Racal.
“Thankful ako na tinatanggap siya ng mga tao, and ayun mahal pa rin nila characters namin, yung tandem namin. Kinikilig pa. Sobrang nakaka-overwhelm,” he said.
The actor also expressed his admiration for the actress’ work ethic and said he was thankful to have been paired up with her.
“Si Maris magaling siya. Sobrang sarap niya ka-eksena. Magaling siyang kabatuhan ng lines. Napepressure nga ako minsan kasi sabi ko, ‘naku hindi nagbabuckle ito. Sobrang nagpapasalamat din ako na siya yung naging partner ko rito sa Can’t Buy Me Love,” stated Jennings.
