Peanut butter docu

A documentary about the transformation of a peanut butter maker from struggling microentrepreneur to successful manufacturer will be screened July 24, 3 p.m., at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Little Theater, as part of Cinemalaya 2011.

“Producto ng Pilipinas” by Jullian Ablaza, Filipino filmmaker and digital designer based in Canada, tells the story of Jennilyn Antonio, overall winner in the Maunlad category (assets from P300,000 to P1 million) in the Citi Microentrepreneur of the Year Awards. The docu was screened in the ReelWorld Film Festival in Toronto. It will be shown at the Globians Doc Fest in Berlin in August and the Third World Indie Film Festival in San Jose, California, in September.
