Vice Ganda appealed to Aga Muhlach’s son, Andres, to be one of the hosts of “It’s Showtime,” considering his sister Atasha is already hosting “Eat Bulaga.”

Sitting down with Aga, the TV host-comedian teased if Andres could be one of the hosts of ABS-CBN’s noontime show so he’d have the same duty as his twin sister, who is a regular member of TVJ’s “Eat Bulaga.”

“Si Atasha nasa Eat Bulaga. I-Showtime na natin ‘to si Andres. Para tig isa silang channel diba,” said Vice to Aga.

The former “Gandang Gabi Vice” host talked to a printed photo of Andres as he requested him to join the “It’s Showtime” family, joking that the people he’s with are already “old” and so they need someone younger like him.

“Para may gwapo naman doon bukod kay Ion. Ang tanda na ng mga kasama ko. Si Vhong ang tanda na, si Jhong ang tanda na, si Ogie may gout na. Sama ka naman sa amin doon, halika Andres,” teased Vice.

Aga said the comedian should ask his son as he would be surely flattered by the invitation, “Sabihin mo, kikiligin yon.”

The “Sisterakas” star asked if Andres inherited his father’s talent for dancing since it would be useful if he decided to join “It’s Showtime.”

“Tamang tama siya sa Showtime, very talented pala,” said Vice.

Andres recently joined show biz as his family signed with TV5 for their first-ever sitcom as a family, with his father, mom Charlene Gonzales and sister Atasha.

During their contract signing, the showbiz newbie said he was open to giving up his privacy as he opens his door to the industry.

“I am definitely ready to give up a lot of my private time for work. Okay? I just wanna work po. So any opportunity, I’ll really take it.” said Andres.

Meanwhile, Aga said in one of his interviews that they did not compel their children to join show business.

“Gusto nila, eh. Siguro ‘yun ang nakita nilang buhay namin habang lumalaki sila,” Aga stated during his appearance on the program “Cristy Ferminute.”

The “King of Romance-Drama” stressed that he had informed his twins about the realities of the entertainment world when they decided for themselves that they wanted to venture into the public eye.

“Naiipaliwanag ko naman sa kanila na [while] growing up na at some point you decide to enter the industry or the entertainment world na huwag ninyong tingnan ‘yung ‘glitz and glamour’ because behind that is all fake and hard work and dedication,” shared the actor.
