Janice de Belen grateful as son Yuan recovers after surgery

Janice de Belen expressed her gratitude to those who offered their prayers and well-wishes for Yuan, her son with actor John Estrada, who recently underwent an operation due to an undisclosed condition.
The celebrity mom showed Yuan, 25, lying in a hospital bed while being assisted by the medical staff, through her Instagram page last Saturday, Feb. 3.

Yuan, who shares a huge resemblance to his mother, was then mistaken to be de Belen because only a part of his face could be seen in the photo. Fans and fellow celebrities then expressed their concern for De Belen which prompted her to make a clarification in a separate post.
This time showing Yuan posing for the camera, De Belen wrote in the caption, “Thank you, God, he is OK and surgery went well!”
“My post should have been clearer that it wasn’t me who had surgery,” she added. “Thank you for all the well-wishes and prayers from everybody. Yuan Estrada is now on the recovery path.”

Celebrities close to de Belen and Yuan including his godfather Ogie Alcasid were then relieved after the actress’ health update on her son.

Aside from Yuan, Janice has four more children: her eldest child, Luigi, with actor Aga Muhlach; and Inah, Moira and Kaila with John.
