K-pop boy group Enhypen showed their love to Filipino fans by adding their own twist to local hits which were originally sung by SB19, Never the Strangers, and Zack Tabudlo, which they performed at their jampacked “Fate” concert last Feb. 3 at the New Clark City Stadium in Tarlac.

Sunghoon became the second Enhypen member after Jungwon to do a short cover of SB19’s smash hit “Gento” during the show’s ment, as seen on Philippine Concerts’ X (formerly X) account.

Donning spectacles and a denim jacket, Sunghoon also uploaded his “Gento” cover on the group’s Tiktok page the day after. “Let’s ‘Gento,’” he wrote.

Never the Strangers’ “Moving Closer” seemed to have caught the attention of Sunoo as he did a short performance of the band’s hit song during their concert, which was recorded by @simbokki and @jhkyfrvr on X.

Sunoo’s cover made a strong impression on the band as they thanked the K-pop star on X.

“So beautifully sung. What a perfect way to kick off our weekend. Thank you and much love, @ENHYPEN_members

Legendary singer-songwriter Rico Blanco also praised Sunoo on X for breathing new life into the hit song.

“Sunoo doing ‘Moving Closer’ @ntstrangers cover,” he wrote.

Heeseung, on the other hand, delighted fans — also known as Engenes — with a short performance of Zack Tabudlo’s hit song “Give Me Your Forever” which is said to be one of his favorites.

“For those who saw @ENHYPEN_members’ Heeseung singing this live, kamusta na kayo (how are you all),” Universal Music Philippines wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Enhypen’s Ni-ki treated his fans to a dance cover of “Like This” while Jake sung a snippet of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” in the show.

Enhypen made history as the first K-pop group to hold a concert at the New Clark City Stadium. Among the songs they performed include “Fever,” “Tamed-Dashed,” “Drunk-Dazed,” “Polaroid Love,” “One and Only,” and “Shoutout,” just to name a few.

Last night’s show marked the seven-member boy group’s second time in the Philippines. They previously held their three-day “Manifesto” concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in February 2023.

Formed through the survival show “I-Land,” Enhypen is composed of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. They made their debut with their first EP “Border: Day One” in November 2020.
