Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild is coming to Manila

Fans of the #PorDee tandem formed by Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee and Miss Universe Thailand Anntonia Porsild during the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador will be in for a treat as the two beauties are set to reunite.
Porsild, who finished as first runner-up to Sheynnis Palacios in the 2023 Miss Universe pageant, is scheduled to arrive in Manila on Jan. 29, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) announced on social media.
The Thai beauty already hinted at her Manila trip when she posted her January calendar plotting her official appearances. “Philippines” was written in the last week of the month.
The Miss Universe Thailand pageant also posted an art card on social media saying “Mabuhay!” to which MUPH responded with “Sawasdee Kah.”
The exchange on social media elicited excitement and speculation among Dee’s and Porsild’s fans. And MUPH finally confirmed the Thai beauty’s Manila trip in a post on Jan. 27.
“MABUHAY, ANNTONIA! Miss Universe 2023 1st Runner-Up and crowd favorite [Porsild] will be arriving in Manila on JAN.29! Filipinas, let’s extend a warm welcome to the beautiful Miss Universe from Thailand. [orange heart emoji],” MUPH said.
The national pageant organization also addressed the tandem’s fans: “Looks like exciting things are in store for Miss Universe and #PorDee fans everywhere. [wink emoji][Philippine flag emoji][Thai flag emoji]”
Pageant fans witnessed how Dee and Porsild formed a bond during the homsetretch of the 2023 Miss Universe pageant held late last year in El Salvador.
Exuberant fans from the two ladies’ countries have been pitting the two against one another, and have been waiting for photos of them together.
Dee and Porsild finally snapped a shot together during rehearsals, and their bond blossomed from then on, generating a fandom celebrating the unity of two warring pageant-crazy nations.
Details of Porsild’s visit to the Philippines will be revealed at a press conference immediately upon her arrival.
