Fans were abuzz after Korean singers HyunA and Junhyung shared a photo of them holding hands, seemingly announcing their relationship.
HyunA captioned her post with a couple emoji, then wrote in the comments section “Please look kindly on us,” as per Korean media outlet Soompi’s translation.

Former Highlight member Junhyung did not include any caption on his post, which puzzled fans if the pair was indeed dating or if they were just collaborating on a project.
Noticeably, some netizens seem to be against the pair’s relationship as they pointed out former Highlight member Junhyung’s involvement in the “Burning Sun scandal” in 2019.
When the singers’ talent agencies were sought for their statement on the matter, both companies did not immediately confirm the dating speculations.
“We are not involved with our artist’s personal life,” HyunA’s AT AREA agency said in a statement obtained by Soompi.
“Because it’s a personal matter, it’s difficult for us to confirm,” Junhyung’s BLACK MADE label similarly stated.
HyunA and Junhyung were former labelmates under Cube Entertainment, and worked together on the track “A Bitter Day” from the female singer’s “Bubble Pop!” album.
HyunA was previously in a relationship with fellow K-pop star DAWN. They broke up in 2022 after six years together.
